Small dehumidifying wood drying kiln NIGOLUX - 8, with the capacity of maximum 10 m³, represents integrated composition assembled of a heat pump, electrical heater, circulation fan and air director. It is placed outside the kiln, next to the wall.

Wood drying is achieved through condensation of the air moisture. Part of the air that circulate inside the drying chamber pass through the heat pump. Moisture from the air is condensed on evaporant and ejected from the drying chamber. Dried air is then reheated and injected into the chamber using air director that is placed on the top of the dryer NIGOLUX - 8, as shown on the picture above.

Automatic control unit MC - 411 controls entire drying process, wood moisture content is measured in 4 points while temperature and air humidity are measured in 1 point. Kiln can be built of concrete and bricks, or assembled of aluminium panels. Inside the kiln, an air exchange system, and humidifying system (atomizers) are fitted.

Installed power of NIGOLUX - 8 wood drying kiln is approximately 7 kW, while average energy consumption is approximately 3 kWh.
